Pattern: Victorian Dream Square 12″
Yarn: ILTY aubergine
Hook: H
Yuck, this square is more nightmare than dream. It is 12″ but needs another round as it does not look “finished” to me.
This was a challenge for me with some new stitches ( can you believe I’ve never done a picot?) and not always knowing what the pattern wanted.
This yarn is a beautiful color; I wish it would show better in the photos….always looks brownish.
It looks pretty but like it might come apart in the wash. I have done picots in doilys, snowflakes and coasters. It is a good way to get a pointy end.
