Cheerful Granny Afghan

This was an impromptu project for a young girl in my Wednesday night youth group that I teach. Her home was recently destroyed in a fire and they are struggling to get their lives back in order. I love these colors for an 11 year old girl.

Pattern: Granny Square from 63 Easy To Crochet Pattern Stitches by Leisure Arts. Size = 32″x44″

Yarn: RHSS Bikini – 2 skeins (a bit less)
RHSS Pumpkin – 1 1/4 skein

Hook: I

Started: 3/26/08
Finished: 4/11/08

Those are perfect colors for a pre-teen! That is so nice of you to think of her. How terrible that the fire destroyed so much!
