Christmas Wandith

Apparently I sent this to the Hibernation Den with one round of dc to finish off at 12″ ??? Anyway, it is finished and will go nicely with the Christmas Throw. I am thinking about making a big 24″ granny square for the center of this afghan and placing the 12″ squares around that, then finishing with a 2-4″ border ending with some scallops or a wave.

I just checked out Crochet Edgings & Trims by Kate Haxell from the library. There are 150 stitches in this book….140 of them I would never do, but it is nice to have some inspiration. I can see other uses for some of these patterns other than borders, too.

Pattern: Wandith by Drew Emborsky
Yarn: ILTY
Hook: I, pattern calls for an H
Size 12″

Very pretty. Love the color. What would the giant granny square be done in?

Same colors…maybe two rounds of each until I get the right size. I know the center will be ivory, since that is what all the squares have….going for the snowballish or snowflakey look.
